With immediate effect and until further notice, Bicester RUFC has taken the decision to suspend all rugby training, friendly matches and social gatherings until further notice.

We are still waiting to hear from the RFU, in respect of their current requirement that we fulfil our league fixtures but anticipate that those too will be cancelled or at least postponed.

Although this decision has not been made lightly, it has been made with the interests of the participants, families and the broader community as the priority.

In arriving at this decision, Bicester RUFC have considered today’s press conference by PM Johnson and his advisors, their advice and guidance.

The Club will continue to review our position in the light of any new information we receive and undertake to keep our members fully informed through our website ( and social media pages (#BicesterRUFC).
